Social Media & Privacy Policy

Any contact made with Green Center Therapy is kept strictly confidential. Your information will never be sold or shared. Your information will never be sent to other healthcare professionals without your express permission (for example, to refer you to another clinician).

 

Green Center Therapy clients' information will never be discussed, hinted at, or alluded to on social media. Your confidential information is strictly protected. Any and all overlaps with health concerns discussed in Green Center Therapy's educational videos and your personal experiences are purely coincidental and reflect the universality of many mental health problems.

You are invited to engage with Green Center Therapy's public social media accounts. However, please keep in mind that I cannot monitor or control other peoples’ comments on these accounts. For your safety, you are encouraged not to identify yourself as a client of mine and not to post sensitive information about yourself anywhere online, including my accounts.
 

Due to the importance of confidentiality and the importance of minimizing dual relationships, I do not accept friend or contact requests from current or former clients on my private social media accounts. I believe that adding clients as friends or contacts on these sites can compromise your confidentiality and our respective privacy. It may also blur the boundaries of our therapeutic relationship.
